Perkiomen Pines Day Camp

A Note from Our Director

Thank you for your interest in Perkiomen Pines Day Camp! As a parent myself, I understand the trust involved when you drop off into our care the most precious thing in the world to you - your children. I do not take lightly my responsibility to provide your children with a safe, fun and nurturing environment for them to explore and grow.

I’ve been involved in camping for over 13 years, and the Director at Perkiomen Pines Day Camp for more than 5 years. Being the Director of Perkiomen Pines Day camp is my full time job, and I have a sign in my office that reads “10 for 2.” Simply put, I spend 10 months a year diligently looking for ways to improve upon our great program and facilities, in anticipation of our 2 “summer” months.

I’m very fortunate that I have a job I love, and an opportunity to positively impact the lives of our youth. We live in a time where our daily pace is frenetic, we are obsessed with technology (specifically social media) and have less and less time for what I did as a kid….play! My goal is to make Perkiomen Pines Day Camp the place where our campers have a chance to disconnect from technology, introduce them to new experiences and learn life lessons (such as communication and responsibility) in a safe environment….and of course have lots and lots of FUN!

During the summer, I live on the property with my wife Rachel, our twins Gabe & Jules and our two cats. While it’s a great benefit to our camp families that I’m on the property from June 1st thru September 1st, it also means I can’t use “traffic” as an excuse for being late!

Thank you again for visiting our website and considering Perkiomen Pines Day Camp. I hope that you will join our camp family and look forward to returning your campers each day happy, tired, dirty and safe!
