Waterfront & Swimming

Campers can cool off, strengthen their swimming skills, and enjoy a variety of exciting waterfront activities throughout the summer.

  • Swimming in two on-site pools
  • Aquapark adventures
  • Boating
  • Fishing

Weather permitting, every camper swims each day. Swim periods include approximately 25 minutes of instruction followed by 20 minutes of free swim, giving campers the opportunity to build confidence in the water while still having plenty of time for fun.

Sports & Recreation

From friendly competition to cooperative games, our sports and recreational activities keep campers active, build confidence, and encourage teamwork and good sportsmanship.

  • Basketball
  • Soccer
  • Kickball
  • Softball
  • Tennis
  • Volleyball
  • Gaga
  • Mini Golf

Adventure Activities

Campers can challenge themselves, step outside their comfort zones, and experience the excitement of classic summer camp adventures in a safe and supportive environment.

  • Zip Lining
  • Rock Climbing
  • Low Ropes
  • Archery
  • Horseback Riding
  • Hiking

Weather permitting, every camper is scheduled for horseback riding each week. Some of our more adventurous activities are age-specific, helping ensure that every experience is safe, appropriate, and enjoyable for each camper.

Arts, Nature & Creative Exploration

Not every camp adventure happens on a field or in the water. Campers can express their creativity, discover the natural world, and explore new interests through engaging, hands-on activities.

  • Arts & Crafts
  • Dance
  • Ecology and Nature Exploration
  • Creative and Hands-On Activities

Every camper is scheduled for Arts & Crafts each week, giving them dedicated time to create, experiment, and bring home something special from their summer at camp.

Choice Periods

During choice periods, campers are not limited to activities with their assigned bunk. Instead, they can explore their individual interests, meet new friends, and spend time with campers who may be slightly older or younger.

These periods encourage independence, build new connections, and give campers the opportunity to discover activities they may not have tried before.

Playground Fun & Special Events

Playground activities, group games, and themed special event days bring even more energy and excitement to the camp experience. These memorable moments inspire imagination, strengthen camp spirit, encourage teamwork, and create plenty of summer fun.

Many of our activities are designed for campers of all ages, while certain adventure activities may have age requirements. Families seeking more detailed information about specific activities or age guidelines are encouraged to contact the camp office.

From swimming and sports to arts, adventure, and everything in between, Perkiomen Pines Day Camp offers something for every camper, with even more exciting activities waiting to be discovered.
