Our counselors are an integral part of Perkiomen Pines and we look for mature, enthusiastic staff that have a real desire to work with children.
Being a counselor at PP is so much more than a summer job! Ask anyone who has even been a staff member here and they will tell you that working at PP is a transformative experience. By making meaning connections, and serving as a positive role model, you will be directly impacting the emotional growth of your campers. But that’s not all. The staff you work with become some of your closest friends and the supportive community you join will be with you for a lifetime.
While working with kids is incredibly fun, it is also hard work and can often be trying. As a result, you’ll learn about yourself and build skills in collaboration and interpersonal relationships that will serve you well into the future as well. We value empathy, patience, energy and creativity, and we strive to provide our campers with a diverse staff that will continue to build upon our Perkiomen Pines culture.
